Volvo Trucks North America's new Stop, Look, Wave music video teaches children to stop, look and make eye contact with truck drivers before crossing—helping move us toward zero accidents.

A special thanks to High Point Community Theatre kids, the Miriam P. Brenner Children's Museum and Volvo Group families for bringing the video to life.

Behind every machine is a team making it possible.

Today, we're celebrating the first excavators and large wheel loaders built at Volvo Construction Equipment's Shippensburg, Pennsylvania facility. Over the past year, employees have completed extensive training, implemented new production processes, and worked together to expand the plant's capabilities. Their efforts are helping Volvo CE build more equipment closer to customers while strengthening U.S. manufacturing.

Did you know teachers in North Carolina spend an average of about $1,600 of their own money on classroom supplies each year?

That's why Volvo Group is helping get classroom supplies where they’re needed most. The shift_ed Teacher Supply Warehouse provides Guilford County Schools educators with free classroom supplies throughout the year. As part of a recent supply drive, volunteers collected and delivered donations, then helped sort and organize supplies for local educators to shop throughout the school year.

A full warehouse means more supplies on the shelves and more teachers getting what they need for their classrooms.

Meet Jeff Seabrease, senior application support specialist.

Jeff's job is making sure the digital tools our dealers and customers use every day actually work — so nobody's stuck fighting with tech instead of getting their job done. Jeff once solved a headache for a company with several locations that kept getting locked out from sharing one login — his fix of giving each location its own ID worked so well, other big customers now use it too.

Outside of work, Jeff volunteers at Horsepower, a local ranch where kids with special needs get to ride horses. He's also a lifelong Superman fan with 500+ comic books and four original movie posters to show for it.

His advice for life: treat others with kindness, because you never know what kind of day they're having.

Six camps. 300 kids. One very important habit: Stop, Look, Wave. 👋

Our Volvo Trucks North America Safety Town partnership with the Greensboro Police Department is back at Barber Park and Lewis Rec Center this summer, and our volunteers are teaching 5- and 6-year-olds how to stay safe around trucks — checking blind spots, making eye contact with drivers, and waving before they cross.

Camps run through August 10, so if you spot a group of kids waving at one of our trucks, wave back. They earned it.

You never know what fifty years can hold. ⏳

This week, the City of Hagerstown opened a time capsule sealed back in 1976 during America's Bicentennial — part of the city's 250th anniversary celebration. Inside, alongside other historic finds, were two pieces of our own history: a vintage Mack patch reading "The Greatest Name in Trucks," and a bronze bulldog coin stamped 1976.

Mack Trucks Plant Manager Jeff McCall and Communications Manager Susan Hale Thomas were there to represent our Hagerstown Operations team.

Here's the fun part — Hagerstown is now collecting items for a NEW time capsule, one that won't be opened again until 2126. 👀
