College football is back, and so was the whole Hoffman Family of Companies.

Employees from across Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc., Hoffman Hydronics, Hoffman Building Technologies, and Hoffman Mechanical Solutions, Inc. came together for our College Kick-Off Football party, made their picks for the season's kickoff winners, and spent the afternoon doing what we do best: enjoying each other's company.

There was pizza, a few competitive rounds of co****le and backyard football, and the Timeless Treats Ice Cream Truck rolled in to seal the deal.

Different teams, different jerseys, one family. There's no better way to start the season than together.

That's how one of our employee-owners described what it means to work at a 100% ESOP company, and it's exactly the message our team shared this week when U.S. Congressman Addison McDowell (R-NC-06) visited our Hoffman Family of Companies headquarters in Greensboro.

Several of our employee-owners sat down with Congressman McDowell for an employee-owner roundtable; a casual, candid conversation about owning a piece of the company where they work. The stories were consistent: when you're an owner, you treat your job, and the people next to you, differently. You show up knowing you're heard. And you understand, in a very real way, that one person's success lifts everyone around them.

Congressman McDowell has been a supporter of employee-owned businesses, and visits like this help put a face and a story to what that support protects: real people building real retirement security through the company they help run every day.

Today in Raleigh, our Hoffman and Hoffman and Hoffman Hydronics interns hosted an HVAC 101 Lunch & Learn for interns from other companies.🎉

After a summer spent learning the ins and outs of airside and hydronics systems, they turned around and taught it themselves: a genuinely well-done lecture breaking down HVAC fundamentals, followed by a structured cross-company networking session to connect interns across the industry.

It's one thing to learn HVAC 101. It's another thing to stand up and teach it to a room full of your peers, and this group nailed it. 😎

Proud of our interns for turning a summer internship into something bigger: a chance to build community and connections across companies, not just within one.

This summer, we're proud to welcome an incredible group of interns across all four of our companies — Hoffman & Hoffman, Hoffman Hydronics, Hoffman Building Technologies, and Hoffman Mechanical Solutions!

Orientation Day was just the beginning — our interns hit the ground running, getting to know each other, learning what makes the Hoffman family of companies special, and discovering how our teams work together to deliver world-class HVAC and building solutions.

🔧 Investing in our team means investing in our customers.

Recently, Brett Serbin, Tyler Moore, and Esau Alvarado, our sales team from our Hoffman Hydronics Atlanta office, traveled to upstate New York for an exclusive factory training with Unilux Boilers — and it was well worth the trip! ✈️

Patrick Schrecongost from Unilux was a gracious and outstanding host from start to finish — treating our team to a wonderful dinner and then a half-day of hands-on training at the plant in Schenectady, NY, capped off with a full factory tour.

The team came away with a deeper understanding of the history and legacy behind Unilux, what sets their boilers apart from the competition, and the key sales points that help engineers and contractors make a confident, informed specification.

At Hoffman Hydronics, we're committed to knowing our product lines inside and out — so we can be the most knowledgeable and trusted resource for our customers across the Southeast.
