Instead, this team hit punch walk 6 weeks early and delivered substantial completion 2 weeks ahead of an already accelerated timeline. Proof that good planning beats bad luck.

Samet is proud to share final photography of the newly completed Gordon Road Fire Station, home to New Hanover County Fire Rescue.

This new one-story, 14,431-square-foot facility was designed to enhance emergency response times for the Town of Wilmington. The station includes state-of-the-art apparatus bays, fully equipped turnout gear storage, a boardroom and administrative offices, and a full kitchen and common area for shift crews.

The facility also serves as the headquarters for New Hanover County Fire Administration, centralizing operations and improving efficiency across the county's fire services.

Gordon Road Fire Station reflects the Town of Wilmington's continued commitment to rapid, effective emergency response and the safety of its residents. Congratulations to the entire project team, and to New Hanover County Fire Rescue on their new home.!

Move-in day just got an upgrade.

NC A&T's new Bluford Street Residence Hall is ready to welcome its first class of residents. 400+ beds across modern one, two, and four-bedroom suites, each with its own kitchenette and private bath. Between classes, students can unwind in the gaming room, catch up in the courtyard, or grab what they need without leaving the building.

Steps from Williams Dining Hall, F.D. Bluford Library, and the heart of campus, this 155,200 SF residence hall is designed to make the transition back to school feel like coming home.

Last week we had the incredible opportunity to host an Open House event for NCHEA, along side our partners ECS, First Onsite, Bennett & Pless, and Applied Roofing Solutions.

We mingled, we laughed, we ate, and we celebrated amazing connections in the NC healthcare sector. A big THANK YOU to everyone who showed up! We can't wait to continuing building on these relationships.

That's a wrap on our 2026 summer internship program!

Last Friday we took our interns to the Greensboro Science Center to celebrate a great summer. Lunch, a few games, a tour of our Biodome project, and some time to check out the Science Center themselves.

This group put in real work all summer, and we're grateful to the team members who took the time to teach them, answer their questions, and show them what Samet is all about.

We can't wait to see where these future builders end up.

Leland's new Founders Park amphitheatre is complete, and last week's grand opening brought the community out to celebrate. 🎉

The 1,760 SF space now features a green room, storage room, IT/AV room, dance floor, and connecting walkways and drive access.

Here's to many years of shows, gatherings, and memories in this new space.

Here's an inside look at MAA Nixie, a 406-unit community we built in Durham, NC.

The site includes three mid-rise buildings and an integrated parking structure, along with resident amenities like a pool courtyard, clubhouse, fitness center, and dog park. It's a great example of what modern multifamily living can look like.

Samet joined the City of Greensboro and the Greensboro Fire Department this week to celebrate the reopening of Fire Station 8.

Instead of a traditional ribbon cutting, dignitaries marked the occasion the fire department way, ceremonially unscrewing a fire hose coupling to officially reopen the station.

Originally built in 1970, Station 8 has served the Glenwood community for more than 56 years. We were honored to be part of its transformation into a modern facility built for the next chapter of service.

Congratulations to the Greensboro Fire Department and the City of Greensboro on this milestone!

Just a 5 minute walk from the beach, this four-level project will feature 20 units, with a pool, fitness area, and common gathering space on the second floor, plus dedicated on-site parking.
