To all our friends, neighbors, clients and associates, this was not a post we wanted to write but unfortunately it is necessary.
Effective immediately, PTL Contracting, Building Stars franchisee and our associated businesses will no longer be providing in kind services, donations of labor or materials to any project for any individual or organization. While this action does go against my believes, the time has come to make this painful decision and stop philthanthropy. In part due to the economic times we are in, but moreson in part due to the lack of appreciation and gratitude for the volunteer time and free work we have performed. My associates have been berated, screamed at, accussed of scamming people, and being subjected to various unkind, unprofessional and downright nasty behavior.
I cannot and will not tolerate such actions. So going forward, we will not be able to offer our services, time or materials, unless we have a contract with you to perform work.
While this action is not ideal, it is necessary. Our businesses do not treat people this way and we will not accept such treatment either.
For those organizations we have have helped, it was my honor and priviledge to do so.
