50 Years ago My Father came up with the name for our guitars. C. W. Parsons & Co. Guitars est. 1975. It is now time to build a 50th anniversary model guitar. Plans are in the works and details to come later.

ATTENTION! Acoustic guitar owners. Especially the solid wood acoustic guitars. It is time to Humidify the room where your guitar rests at home. The de-Humidifier is no longer needed. The winter heating source dries out the air in your home. A humidifier puts moisture in the air and keeps your guitar safe. Keep the humidity between 40% to 50%. if possible. Hygrometers are cheap so you can read humidity levels. Happy Pickin' this winter.

I have a 3/4 Upright bass in my shop with unknown origin. It has a solid top and back and is X-Braced. Lots of heavy bracing inside. A paper label is mostly destroyed on the inside back It has been sprayed black and seems really solid. If anyone knows What this bass is, I will welcome any opinions. I build guitars and I am not a Bass guy.

I have in my shop this 3/4 Upright bass of unkmown origin. It appears to be solid soundboard and back bent not carved. Very solid construction with heavy bracing. The top is X-Braced.
I tried taking pictures. If anyone has any Opinions I will welcome any comments.
