Growth isn't just about buying new machines—it's about building better systems.
One of the first things we did after taking over MTTI Manufacturing Group was reconnect with customers who hadn't done business with us in some time.
One conversation stood out. For a while, the customer had continued placing orders despite a few minor issues that had been resolved. Then, seemingly without warning, the work stopped. After reaching out, we learned something valuable.
It wasn't that MTTI could no longer make quality parts. The customer's expectations had evolved. As their business grew, they raised the bar for every supplier in their network, evaluating not only machining capability but also quality systems, documentation, traceability, responsiveness, and overall operational maturity.
That realization reinforced something we strongly believe:
Operational excellence isn't determined by the size of a company. It's determined by the strength of its systems.
A small machine shop can have documented processes, defined responsibilities, quality controls, and a culture of continuous improvement just as effectively as a much larger organization.
That's exactly what we're building.
Over the past several weeks we've been investing not only in equipment, but in the systems that support consistent, repeatable quality.
Some of those investments include:
- A new 3-axis CNC Mill (Coming soon)
- Multi-material, multi-color 3D printing capabilities
- High-accuracy 3D scanning with CMM inspection capabilities
- CAD model viewing and processing
- Standardized quality inspections on every manufactured part
- Documented procedures and workflows designed to support future ISO 9001 certification
These improvements are building on what has always been MTTI's greatest strength: producing quality machined parts while providing responsive, personalized customer service.
This is only the beginning.
We're committed to becoming a manufacturing partner our customers can rely on—not only because we make precision parts, but because we've built the systems that ensure consistent quality every time.
If your organization is looking for a machining partner that combines craftsmanship with continuous improvement, we'd welcome the opportunity to earn your business.
