The severe weather that swept through our region yesterday afternoon and evening — including the confirmed tornado in the northeastern part of our service area — resulted in multiple outages overnight. Crews worked through the night to restore power to all affected members, and all outages were restored by the early morning hours. Thank you for your patience!

Approximately 200 Southwestern Electric members are without power this afternoon as high winds and storms move through the area. Our Operations Department personnel are aware of the outages and have begun investigating their sources. We will pass along updates as they are available.

About 275 Southwestern Electric members served by the Hookdale Substation in southern Bond County are without power this evening due to a downed wire. An outage was taken to rehang wire, and crews hope to have the outage restored in short order. Thank you for your patience!

Close to 150 Southwestern Electric members in Fayette County and a handful in Shelby County are without power this evening after strong storms rolled through the region earlier tonight. Crews have been dispatched to assess the sources of the outages and begin restoration efforts. We currently do not have an estimated time of restoration for any of the outages.
