What does 30 of years dedication look like? A night like this.

Clients, partners, colleagues, and friends came together to celebrate BLE’s 30th anniversary, an evening filled with memories, laughter, familiar faces, and plenty of reasons to raise a glass.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to everyone who has been part of BLE’s journey since 1996. You gave us so much to celebrate.

Here’s to 30 years and all that’s still ahead!

When community partners come together, great things happen!

BLE partnered with Southern Trail Advocates and Riders (STAR) to support the trails and outdoor spaces that bring our communities together. Through the Enoree Riders fundraising campaign, riders and supporters stepped up to raise $5,000, and BLE matched it dollar for dollar, bringing the total to $10,000!

Those funds will go directly toward the work that keeps the Enoree trails rideable and enjoyable, including drainage improvements, erosion control, and ongoing trail maintenance.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make the match a success and proud to partner with STAR, whose commitment to community and stewardship reflects the values we strive to put into action at BLE.

A crack in a retaining wall may be the symptom—not the problem.

Water building up behind the wall. Changing soil conditions. Foundation movement. Added loads. Or even instability involving the surrounding slope.

When a retaining wall starts leaning, cracking, bulging, or settling, figuring out why it’s moving is just as important as figuring out how to fix it. Often, the real cause is below grade or behind the wall, where it can’t be seen.

Career fair season is in full swing, and BLE is hitting the road to meet the next generation of engineers, scientists, technicians, and industry professionals!

BLE Recruiter Braden Shulfer, MHRM recently joined Joseph Goings, P.G., Grant Cochrane, and Dakota Skutka, MSI, at the University of South Carolina STEM Career and Internship Fair in Columbia. This week, Braden and Dale Clavon also represented BLE at the NC A&T State University Fall Career Awareness and Hiring Event in Greensboro.

Career fairs give us the opportunity to connect with students, share what it’s like to build a career at BLE, and introduce them to the many paths available across our company. They’re also a great chance for our team to hear directly from students about what they’re looking for as they take their first steps into the industry.
