L**E USA was recently contacted by the USS Hornet - Sea, Air, and Space Museum in Alameda, California and was asked to help this non-profit in donating and replacing a manual lubrication system for a Bridgeport that they had also received as a donation.

L**E USA was happy to oblige and we are excited to see it put to good use!! It will be used in educating those who visit the ship's tool room on the importance of machine tools in Naval maintenance programs.

Air/Oil Spindle lubrication block down? We can help with that too even across other brands. We often have stock in common 4-6 port arrangements when the other guys don't. This customer went from being told 10-12 weeks to "It will be there Monday, and I'll train you on how to prime it also." I love my job. *Picture during priming so oil not broken up by air yet*

A flat rolled coil & sheet steel manufacturer located in the Southeast reached out to us because they were having roller-bearing failures on their 2001 Red Bud Leveler. We provided basic manual grease lubrication system troubleshooting steps over the phone. These steps confirmed they were experiencing failures due to grease separation, hardening, and external contaminants when refilling the grease reservoir.
Upon our initial meeting and physical inspection of the machine, we determined that 54 of the 58 roller-bearings were not being lubricated by the manual system and hadn’t been for quite some time.
L**E USA designed a retrofit manual lubrication system, utilizing our 400cc LHL-X100 Hybrid Grease and KEN-T Indicators.

Special Note *** Due to the proximity of this new customer’s location, L**E USA was able to provide installation & maintenance training within 8 hours of receiving the purchase order. As a result, their LHL-X100 grease system was installed, plumbed, primed, tested, & commissioned, ready for production the following morning!! ***

When it comes to cartesian cutting machines like plasma or laser cutting machines, we often see machines intended for production environments with manually lubricated zerk fittings that require removing panels to access them. This Fortune 500 customer opted to have 3 of their plasma tables retrofitted with our LHL Hybrid Grease Systems which incorporate an HMI, our P-207 cartridge pump, and MG2-C injectors to reliably grease critical components every 4 hours. This machine only needs 1 cartridge approximately every 3 months, resulting in greatly reduced labor and lubrication costs.

L**E USA was contacted to design & implement a robust, precise, and reliable automated oil lubrication system for a Stacker Chain System application for a steel producer. The existing lubrication system comprised of a technician, a mop handle, and numerous soaked rags on a “sometimes interval”, which was not providing adequate lubrication. Because of the environment and the need for frequent lubrication intervals, we used our PM-8S Pneumatic Oil Pump in conjunction with low oil level and pressure switches. We drastically reduced lubrication man-hours and downtime, and improved production with this BIG WIN!

For this specialty "caterpillar chain" application our customer needed a reliable partner in creating a grease lubrication system that was effective and saved on cost and downtime. They went from replacing each chain and belt twice a year, to having no replacements needed since 2022 as well as a reduction in 80 percent of PM man hours as a result of this system. L**E USA excels in specialty applications for a variety of production machinery.
