Happy Earth Day! 🌎
Did you know, here at West Michigan Compounding:
- We give plastic a second life by teaming up with recycling partners to transform post-industrial materials into high-performance compounds that are used in real-world applications. It’s incredible to see how materials that might have been discarded are now making a positive impact!
- We use post-industrial recycled resins that can cut carbon emissions by up to 90% compared to virgin materials in some of our compounds. That’s a huge leap forward in reducing our footprint!

Fun fact: For certain materials we make, the reduction in carbon emissions is equivalent to taking a car off the road for an entire day—per pound of compound. The environmental benefits add up quickly.
