What does winning look like? 🏆
At Refrigeration Heroes, winning doesn’t always mean landing the biggest job or closing the next account.
Sometimes winning looks like a technician finding the root of a problem instead of putting a band-aid on it.
Sometimes it’s dispatch getting the right information to a tech before they arrive.
Sometimes it’s sales listening to a customer and finding a solution that actually makes their day easier.
Sometimes it’s a customer calling us back because they know we’ll answer.
And sometimes, winning is simply getting a piece of equipment back up and running before it turns into a much bigger problem.
The best wins usually happen when everyone does their part and the customer feels the difference.

Tech Tuesday 🔧

A good technician doesn’t just fix what’s broken.

They look at the whole picture.

What happened before the equipment stopped working?

What’s it doing now?

What should it be doing?

And most importantly… why?

Our techs bring experience, trade knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a whole lot of curiosity to every service call.

Sometimes the answer is obvious. Sometimes it takes a little digging. And sometimes it’s a good old-fashioned, “Huh… that’s interesting.” 😂

Either way, our Heroes keep learning, sharing what they find, and looking for the root of the problem — not just the quickest fix.

Meaningful Communication Monday 💬

Good communication isn’t just about talking to the customer.

It’s about what happens between everyone, too.

A technician sharing what they found in the field.
Dispatch making sure the right details get where they need to go.
Sales passing along what they’ve learned about a customer.
Account managers keeping everyone in the loop.

When those conversations happen, the next person has more information to work with — and the customer doesn’t have to repeat themselves five different times.

A service call might have one Hero showing up at the door, but there’s usually a whole team behind that visit.

Good communication keeps us connected, keeps us learning, and ultimately helps us save your day. 💙💚

Pumpkin spice is showing up everywhere, football is back, and somehow we’re already talking about the holidays. 🍂

Fall is also a great time to take a look at the equipment that has been working hard all summer.

Before the busy season really gets rolling, ask yourself:

How are my coolers running?

How’s the HVAC holding up?

When was the last time the equipment was cleaned and inspected?

A little attention now can make for a much less stressful season later.

CFESA is always a great reminder that this industry is bigger than any one territory or state line.

Brittney, Jason, and Derek have been at CFESA connecting with so many respected leaders across the foodservice equipment industry, sharing ideas, learning from others, and building relationships that reach far beyond our own backyard.

The best part of events like this? The connections don’t end when the conference does. They create opportunities to learn from each other, collaborate across territories, and build relationships that can benefit our customers and our industry as a whole.
