This Omaha family reached a crossroads—they could either move or reimagine their space to become their forever home. They chose to stay, and we are so honored to have helped them make that dream a reality.

By opening up the floor plan and creating an airy, flow-through design, we’ve made it so much easier for them to see more of each other and truly be together.

We replaced the tight space layout with low-maintenance, beautiful dark wood-plank flooring, a stunning white kitchen island and quartz countertops, and a modern staircase that ties the whole home together. We kept the original cabinets and made hardware updates and the rest of the color selections to bring them back to life.

It feels lighter, brighter, and perfectly suited for their life ahead. And guess what? We are already back at it, working on their bathroom next!

The most common culprits we see:

• A sump pump that failed right when it mattered most
• Downspouts that got disconnected or knocked loose, sending water straight at your foundation instead of away from it
• Old windows or foundation cracks letting moisture seep in

Take 5 minutes today to check:

• Your basement floor and corners for damp spots or standing water
• That your downspouts are still connected and pointing away from the house
• Your sump pump is running and the discharge line is clear
