There's no way to not make this sound like an ad, so I apologize in advance. It basically is an HVAC/R ad, but I do it with the confidence that I am good at my job and have plenty of solutions to resolve issues while another company might just say, "The only way to fix said issue is a new system, but we offer financing!". Then you have to keep 911 on speed dial because the insanely high quote they're about to give you is enough to cause a heart attack!
With the temperatures coming up, some of you might have some issues with the A/C system. Some of these issues can be something as simple as a dirty/restricted filter or defective batteries in a thermostat (If no common is connected to t-stat, that is.) Unfortunately, a lot of companies are happy to charge their fee to come out without asking some simple questions that could potentially resolve your issue.
This actually happened to my grandfather when I was a young teen. Two service trips all because of bad batteries. Unbelievable that it took them two trips to figure it out, but even more so that they charged him for both trips. (One of the most recommended companies in the area....) This is why I'm happy for anyone to call me or message me even if it's just a question. Of course, I aim to make a living from my business to feed my family and pay bills, but I believe in doing so the right way. The right way being through honest, hard work with fair pricing. I know I would want to know all of my options and have the choice of repair vs replacement.
If you've made it this far on the post, well, I thank you for taking the time to read this. Continue for some background info..
I'm Charles, the owner of Armour Mechanical Services LLC. I live in Pike County with my wife and two kids, but work all over GA. I've been in the commercial field mostly for over 10 years. I'm licensed (un-restricted) and insured to work on any size system pertaining to HVAC/R. You can go and view the business page for some photos of work we've done.
* No commission pay that a lot of these companies offer to their employees to entice them to sell things that aren't necessary.
* Low overhead so we don't have to charge nearly as much as competitors.
* No techs that aren't licensed with the state. (5 year documented commercial experience requirement to even be considered by state board to take the 8 hour state test!)
*$85 Service charge
* We stand by our work. If there's an issue with our work, we will fix it at no cost to you. We document all repairs/replacements so you can see for yourself that the work was actually done. (Yes, there are some techs at a few companies that will say it was done but go and sell the new part on eBay. True story!)
