We're excited to announce that Jensen Mechanical has been selected by the GC, Up Top Construction IA, to provide the Plumbing and HVAC systems for the new concession stand project at TT Cranny Field in Grinnell!

This project holds special meaning for our family and company. Both our founder, Tracy Jensen, and current owner, Cody Jensen, spent many Friday nights under the lights on this very field, creating memories that have lasted a lifetime. To now have the opportunity to contribute to the future of TT Cranny Field is truly an honor.

Being chosen to help build a facility that will serve athletes, families, and fans for years to come brings everything full circle. It's a reminder of where we came from, the community that supported us, and the pride we have in giving back through our work.

We're grateful for the opportunity and look forward to helping create a space where future generations can make their own Friday night memories.

Big things continue to happen at BGM High School — we’re thrilled to announce the installation of two brand-new rooftops as part of our ongoing commitment to building smarter, more efficient learning environments! 🏫✨

At the same time, we’re proud to support our partners at East Marshall School District in Laurel with the installation of four high-efficiency mini-split systems — helping keep their spaces comfortable while reducing energy use. 🌿💡

And talk about a standout project — we had an exciting day in downtown Grinnell installing two, two-zone heat pumps on a historic building! Preserving the past while embracing the future has never felt so rewarding. 🏛️⚡

Proud of our team for tackling complex projects with precision and care — one roof, one system, one community at a time.

We’re proud to share the completion of our first new construction plumbing project for Jensen Mechanical! 🎉

A huge shoutout goes to our Project Manager, John, whose craftsmanship, attention to detail, and dedication helped bring this project together from the ground up. His hard work truly shows in every part of the rough-in installation.

For this project, the homeowners asked us to complete the plumbing rough-in portion while they handle the trim-out themselves — and we were happy to help make their vision for their new home come to life.

We also want to sincerely thank the homeowners for trusting Jensen Mechanical with the mechanical needs of their entire new home. We appreciate the opportunity and look forward to seeing the finished product come together!

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of Phase One of our 48 Unit HVAC project in Oskaloosa. This milestone reflects the hard work, dedication, and attention to detail that our team brings to every jobsite.

A huge shoutout goes to Project Manager Blake and his crew for leading the charge and delivering outstanding work every step of the way. What makes this project even more impressive? The average age of this crew is just 21 years old.

This team is proving that the next generation of skilled trades is strong, motivated, and ready to lead. Under the guidance and mentorship of some of the best in the business, these young professionals have embraced the craft, put in the hours, and executed at a high level.

The future of the trades is bright — and it’s already getting the job done in Osky!

Big progress to share from the field! 🚧🔥

Our 48-unit apartment complex in Knoxville just hit a major milestone — HVAC rough-in is officially complete!

This phase takes serious coordination, precision, and teamwork to ensure every unit is set up for long-term comfort and efficiency.

Fun Fact: It took 1,520 man hours to complete the HVAC rough-in on this project. That’s a lot of ductwork, fittings, and teamwork going into the walls before you ever see a finished space!

Meanwhile, over in Oskaloosa, we had an exciting crane day — and it was a big one. 🏗️

All 53 rooftop units were successfully set in a single push. There’s nothing quite like watching that kind of coordination come together safely and efficiently. Huge shoutout to the crew for executing like pros.

We’re gearing up to begin rough-in on March 1st, and momentum is strong heading into the next phase.

The team at Jensen Mechanical is ready for another challenge — and we’re just getting started. 💪

🚧 Project Update | Knoxville 48-Unit Apartment Complex 🚧

Big things are happening in Knoxville! This week, our crew craned 53 modular units onto the roof — an incredible milestone made possible by the hard work and coordination of our amazing team. 🙌

We also took a moment to get the whole team together (minus David who is finishing up Continuing Education this week) on site to check out the progress and celebrate just how far we've come. With over 75% of the building roughed in and ready for drywall in just a few short weeks, it’s safe to say this project is moving full steam ahead!

A huge shoutout to our employees, subcontractors, and partners for their dedication, craftsmanship, and teamwork. The quality and pace of this build are a testament to your skill and determination. 👷‍♀️🏗️💪
