Kleen-Air Filter Service & Sales was founded in the 1970's as an HVAC air filter service to commercial business. The current owners, Neal and Carla Allison, purchased Kleen-Air in 1996. They decided to move the business to their hometown of Groesbeck, Texas, 40 miles east of Waco. The Allisons began operation in a small rented space of 1500 square feet with one employee. ase Kleen-Air? For years, Neal Allison had the entrepreneurial desire and continually looked for opportunities. Kleen-Air was a natural fit for Neal's previous business experience. After graduation from Texas A&M University in 1981 until the acquisition of the business in 1996, Neal worked for large manufacturing companies involved in management, product development, planning, scheduling, buying and logistics. In fact, one of these companies was a manufacturer of air filtration media. When this business venture became available, it was a very logical step: air filtration media manufacturing to an air filter service business. Neal's previous work experience and business contacts let the Allisons "hit the ground running."
