We did it again! Brocon Construction employees donated over $7,000 of toys for the channel 4 Firefighters 4 kids toy drive. We had 100% participation from all 80 employees! Merry Christmas!

Once again Brocon’s employees really came through this year for the Firefighters 4 Kids toy drive. We had 100% participation from every employee and most donated more than one toy. Luvata's grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony today. Congratulations from all of us at Brocon Construction, Inc.

Luvata Ohio is expanding its manufacturing, office and warehouse space in Delaware Ohio, to meet growing demand for Electric Vehicle components, along with increasing demand for electrical infrastructure upgrades, including green energy projects. The expansion is set to add up to nearly 50 additional jobs during the next 10 years. The new factory will house state of the art technology and automation, and initial spending on equipment is planned for $18,000,000.

Currently, Luvata operates a factory at 1376 Pittsburg Drive, across from the Delaware Municipal Airport (Jim Moore Field). Luvata built this current factory in 1999. "Our roots and history in Delaware run deep. The company first opened business in Delaware in 1966 at 801 Pittsburgh Drive and has been operating here ever since", says Luvata Executive Vice President Dirk Greywitt.

The plans included leasing a 128,000 sq. ft. factory and office, located at 2039 Pittsburgh Drive. "Construction on the new factory started in February 2024 with a planned occupancy date in the fall of 2024", says Brad Reed, Project Manager for the Delaware expansion. "We were fortunate to partner with a realty and construction company that owned land very near our current property and had already completed design, permitting, and planning work. This allowed for a quicker start up for us".

The factory is needed to meet growing demand for Electric Vehicle components along with increasing demand for electrical infrastructure upgrades, including green energy projects. "Copper is an essential metal that is needed to build the next generation of electric vehicles, to install a nationwide network of charging stations, and to build out and upgrade our power distribution network", exclaims Brian Swank, Luvata's Director of Business Development. "We are happy and excited to participate, along with our customers, in the transformation from internal combustion engines to battery electric vehicles, and infrastructure improvements, that will take place during the next 1O years and beyond", adds Mr. Swank.

We have received the Certificate of Occupancy for the Luvata tenant improvement at our Delaware warehouse. Last item is to install their name on the building. Congratulation to Luvata on your new manufacturing facility!

When you can see blacktop and green grass this means we are very close to completing the shell warehouse and weeks from finishing Luvata's 128,000 SF tenant improvement. Great job by Brocon Construction, Inc. and our subcontractors. Thanks for your help and support.
