We’ve been CRANKING out boat repairs this summer! 😎🚤

Unfortunately, boat work is pretty seasonal, and summer is already starting to wind down. So we’re enjoying every chance we get to help our customers get their boats fixed up and BACK ON THE WATER before the season ends! 🌊

This customer brought us a pontoon that was pretty messed up and needed some serious attention. But as always, the JH TIG WORKS crew got it handled. 💪

We repaired and patched the damaged areas, added drain plugs, cleaned everything up, gave the repaired areas some fresh paint, and sent him on his way ready to hit the water again. 🔥

More commercial work wrapped up in Celina! 🔥🧑‍🏭

We’ve been staying busy helping our commercial GCs keep their projects moving. This time, we completed some grating modifications for the new Academy and also handled work on emergency roof access points at the new PetSmart.

One thing we take pride in at JH TIG WORKS LLC is being problem solvers. Whether it’s a day-to-day boat or tractor repair, custom fabrication, or work on a large commercial construction project, we find a solution and GET IT DONE. 💪

Here’s a cool and unique project we worked on recently! 🔥🛡️

Our slogan at JH TIG WORKS is “Built from your ideas. Forged by our hands.” And this project definitely put that to the test.

Our customer came to us with the idea of having these custom shields made for the masonry border wall around her home. She wanted the look of aged, forged metal, but without having to worry about the pieces rusting and deteriorating over time.

So, we came up with a different approach. 🤙

We fabricated and assembled the shields using powder-coated components, then finished everything with a tinted clear coat over the powder coat to create that smoky, aged appearance she was looking for—without relying on actual rust to get the effect.

A lot of work went into turning the idea into a finished product, but that's exactly the kind of project we enjoy.

In total, we made four custom shields, all ready to be mounted along the masonry wall surrounding her home. 🛡️🔥

Another day out in this blistering Texas heat 🥵🔥

But we can’t complain — JH TIG WORKS LLC has been BUSY these last couple of weeks knocking out commercial projects, custom signs, aluminum repairs, stainless fabrication, and plenty more.

This is something most people don’t know we’re capable of doing — ADA-compliant handrails. 🫡

We got the call last Friday to knock out this handrail, along with several other items, by Wednesday of this week.

Short notice? Of course. But that doesn’t slow us down here at JH TIG WORKS LLC. 🔥

Instead of wasting valuable time driving back and forth to Celina, our crew built the entire handrail ON SITE and knocked out 45 feet of railing within the deadline.

The City of Celina was extremely happy with the finished product, along with the GCs working on the new Academy and Petco project.

What a cool thing we get to be a part of! 🔥

We get to build these awesome custom address signs all over DFW for people making their dream homes a reality.

For this one, the customer wanted the sign to wrap around the brick for a clean, custom fit—and then asked us to backlight it. Man, did it turn out killer! 🔥

We love the clean, modern black style and the way the backlighting completely changes the look at night. 🫧🏠

🔥 THE HONEY BUS IS FINISHED! 🍯🐝

If you know us here at JH Tig Works LLC, you’ve probably either heard about the Honey Bus or seen this mean green machine sitting around the shop.

This beast started life as a retired hauling truck for Texas Parks & Wildlife. Our great customer Steven B. Pool with Honey Company came to us wanting to completely retrofit the rear cab from a generic setup into something functional for hauling and organizing finished honey products.

This project was a BIG one. We installed 20+ sheets of plywood for shelving, fabricated and installed all of the aluminum framing and shelf supports, and laid down more than 1,000 aluminum welds throughout the build. 💪🔥

We even calculated that this thing could haul somewhere around 10,000 lbs of finished product! 🍯

It’s been one heck of a project, and we’re pumped to finally see the Honey Bus finished and ready to work.

And seriously… y’all need to go try Tribute Honey Company’s creamed honey. That stuff is DELICIOUS. 🤤🍯

🔥 Check out these absolutely SICK multi-purpose shop tables we just finished for Muenster ISD! 🔥

The Muenster ISD Ag teacher reached out to us looking for tables that could do more than just welding. They needed something students could use for welding, woodworking, fabrication, and all kinds of shop projects, while still being easy to move around the high school shop.

So we built them SOLID. 💪

We fabricated three 4'×4' tables and two 2'×4' tables, painted them to match the school colors, and cut 5/8" standard fixture holes throughout the tops to make clamping and fixturing projects in the center of the tables much easier.

And to finish them off, my man Lex Clark made us some awesome custom engraved name tags for the tables! 🔥

We love getting to build equipment that's actually going to be put to work and used by the next generation learning welding and fabrication.

It’s been a busy few weeks here at JH TIG WORKS LLC! 🔥

We’ve been delivering some of the amazing signs we’ve created over the past week, and this one was definitely a favorite!

This custom sign was delivered to a new boutique opening at the Cotton Mill in McKinney, TX, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The backlighting really brought this piece to life! 💡🔥

We’ll be heading back out in the next couple of weeks to get it officially installed, so stay tuned for the finished look!
