M.J. VanDamme is looking for a safety-oriented, experienced leader to oversee and manage our stone crushing operations throughout the Marquette County area. If you have experience in aggregate production and enjoy leading a team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment — we want to hear from you!
🔨 What You’ll Do:
• Supervise and coordinate daily crushing plant operations
• Lead, train, and mentor operators, laborers & maintenance personnel
• Ensure MSHA/OSHA/DOT compliance and uphold strong safety standards
• Monitor production goals, material quality & plant performance
• Coordinate maintenance & troubleshoot equipment issues
• Maintain accurate production and safety records
• Communicate with management on scheduling & operational needs
• Enforce housekeeping and environmental compliance standards
✅ What We’re Looking For:
• 3–5+ years in aggregate, mining, or rock crushing operations
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of crushing equipment & material flow
• Familiarity with MSHA/OSHA regulations
• Proven leadership, communication & problem-solving skills
💪 Work Environment:
• Outdoor quarry/aggregate production setting
• Exposure to heavy equipment, dust & industrial noise
• Physical, hands-on role (lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, extended hours as needed)
