Matthew Trapp, MBA, BSME Mechanical Engineering — Systems Sales Engineer, J+H Automation Solutions

J+H Automation Solutions is proud to welcome Matthew Trapp as Systems Sales Engineer. Matthew brings more than two decades of experience across material handling, systems integration, and industrial automation — a background that spans the full arc of a project, from mechanical design to solution development to strategic partnerships.

Matthew's career includes senior systems engineering and innovation roles at Vanderlande Industries, solution development at Dematic, and material handling equipment engineering at Target, along with leadership positions at Waites and Honeywell. He has spent his career translating complex operational challenges into integrated, buildable solutions — and he knows what it takes to deliver systems that perform on the floor, not just on paper.

That combination of hands-on engineering depth and consultative sales experience is exactly what makes Matthew a natural fit for J+H. As Systems Sales Engineer, he'll work directly with customers to scope, design, and propose turnkey automation solutions — conveyors and material handling, robotics and AGVs, controls and integration, and custom machinery — backed by J+H's in-house engineering, fabrication, and field installation teams.

Matthew holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, a BSME in Mechanical Engineering. Please join us in welcoming Matthew to the J+H team.
