JOB TITLE: Factory Worker

REPORTS TO/SUPERVISOR: Punch Press Dept. Supervisor
FUNCTION: This position reports to the Punch Press Department Supervisor and supports
Almetek’s day-to-day manufacturing goals by completing various production-related tasks in a safe and efficient manner. This role fills different general needs across our manufacturing facility. This will include operating machines like punch presses, sandblasting parts, packing parts in the Shipping Dept. and other tasks as determined by management. Training will be provided.
HOURS: Full time (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm. Occasional overtime; this position may require more than 40 hours per week. No swing shifts!
COMPENSATION: Hourly, non-exempt. $15.50-$18.50/HR depending on experience. Direct hire.

JOB DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS:
• Perform general factory labor to support the company’s production needs as directed by management.
• Operate machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Read and measure with a ruler.
• Possess strong attention to detail to inspect first work pieces for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Be safety-focused at all times and follow all safety policies.
• Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions. Must be able to work successfully with a diverse group of individuals.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to Almetek’s 5S Standard.
• Follow OSHA regulations and wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Report all machine and safety concerns, or work area problems, to Supervisor immediately.
• Read, communicate, and follow work instructions in the English language.
• This position requires the ability to perform the physical aspects of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including but not limited to lifting up to 50 lbs., sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, fine manipulation, exposure to loud noises/oils/paints/fumes, as well as hot and cold climates in the plant.
