Great award for a great project team!! The 4.5 MW GEMS Landfill Solar Project in Gloucester Township was awarded “Project of the Year under $10M” by ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers)! We turned the nation’s first superfund site into a solar park which will produce six billion kilowatt hours of clean energy a year, completely changing the environmental impact of the area for a better future. Thanks to Mayor David Mayer's vision and Cliff Chapman, Graeme Dutkowsky and our partners at Syncarpha Capital, CSenergy and IBEW 351.

Celebrating in Bellmawr, NJ!

The Bellmawr BOE cut the ribbon on their 725 kW solar project. Panels were installed on Bellmawr Park and Ethel M. Burke Elementary schools as well as Bell Oaks Middle School. The systems will jointly produce 1,000,000 kWh of electricity, replacing over 80% of the current consumption and saving the district approx $2.5 million over the next 15 years!!

It was an honor and pleasure to work with the board, school and staff on this amazing project!

The Bahamas, recently hit with destructive hurricanes, had to rebuild their power distribution from scratch. The government has now turned to optimized microgrids to power the country.

Our team had a great day at Stomping Grounds Social Justice Cafe! Shout out to Kim, Kayla, Slim, KJ, and Theo for their hospitality. We got to sample so many amazing coffees, teas and lemonades PLUS we created our very own drink called the ‘BlueSky BOHMB'. It is a Blue cotton candy latte macchiato with white chocolate, caramel, and a special bomb drop at the end. So sweet and tasty! All the flavors blended so nicely for a delicious and refreshing treat!

We can’t wait to visit again! 😊

Today for our BlueSky , we look back on our project with our friends at the Delaware River Port Authority. In 2020, the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) commissioned the roughly 20MW solar project serving several PATCO train station and bridges. It was wonderful working for Michael Venuto and Nicole Campion Ochroch. DRPA worked with BlueSky Power to address complex interconnection and contracting matters, BPU regulations and other issues to advance this spectacular project. We worked with the amazing team Burns Engineering, Inc. As usual, Philip Gonski, P.E., Michael Walton, and Jonathan Topham were spectacular partners and amazing electrical engineers. Thank you all for the great project!
