We’re excited to share that our very own Raina Au, President and Managing Partner of Maui Traffic Control Services, was recently installed to the Board of Directors for the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Hawai‘i!

This year’s theme, Wahine Ho‘omana – “empowered woman”, celebrates the strength, passion, and dedication of women making an impact in the construction industry and local communities.

As a board member, Raina will contribute to advancing this vision—strengthening NAWIC’s presence across the state through community outreach, collaboration with industry partners, and empowering the next generation of women leaders.

We’re honored to see Raina step into this role and continue to embody what it means to be an empowered woman, empowering women.

Last week’s NAWIC General Membership Meeting was a powerful reminder of the importance of representation and resilience.

We had the privilege of hearing from State Senator Lynn DeCoite (District 7), who shared her HERstory with honesty, strength, and humor.

One quote that really stuck with me:

“You belong in every room you enter, even if you’re the only woman there.”

Such a timely message for women in construction and leadership. Grateful to be part of an organization like NAWIC that continues to open doors, build confidence, and amplify voices.
