There’s a lot more that happens between an architectural drawing and a finished part than most people ever see.

For this project, we were provided the architectural drawings shown in the first image. They gave us the design intent—but not everything needed to actually manufacture the components. From there, we built the parts in SolidWorks, worked through dimensions, material thicknesses, hole locations, fit-up, clearances, and fabrication details, and created fully defined CAD that our shop could actually build from.

Only then does steel get cut.

The last two photos are the finished components that came out of that process.

This is a big part of what we do at Full Curl Manufacturing that never shows up in a photo of a laser, press brake, or welder. We don’t just feed drawings into a machine and wait for parts to come out. We take a concept, figure out what it takes to manufacture it correctly, and carry it all the way through to the finished product.

Architectural intent → Manufacturing-ready CAD → Finished steel.

Define it clearly. Build it right. Verify it before it leaves.

From CAD model to finished installation — this staircase was a Full Curl Manufacturing design and fabrication project from the ground up.

FCM handled the metal side of this project from start to finish:

• CAD design and engineering
• Stair and railing layout
• Steel fabrication
• Custom posts and handrails
• Cable railing system
• Fit-up and installation

The result is a clean, modern floating staircase with open wood treads, black steel, and stainless cable railing.

The woodwork was completed by others, but every piece of steel you see started in CAD at Full Curl and went through our shop before making its way into this home.

Projects like this are a good example of what we enjoy most: taking an idea, working through the details, and turning it into something that looks right, fits right, and will be there for a very long time.

Full Curl Manufacturing is growing, and we're looking for someone who enjoys building things, solving problems, and working with modern manufacturing technology.

This position starts with operating our CNC fiber laser but quickly expands into engineering support and CAD work for the right person.

You'll have opportunities to learn:

• CNC Fiber Laser Operation
• CAD & DXF Processing
• Sheet Metal Manufacturing
• Production Planning
• Quality Control
• Modern Manufacturing Software

Ideal candidates should:

✔ Be comfortable with computers
✔ Have good attention to detail
✔ Be organized and dependable
✔ Be willing to learn
✔ Have basic fabrication or mechanical experience (preferred but not required)

Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, CNC equipment, or manufacturing is a plus—but we're willing to train someone with the right attitude.

⚡ From AI Concept to Finished Sign in Less Than 24 Hours.

This customer came to us with an AI-generated concept and a deadline. While the artwork looked great, it wasn't ready for manufacturing. Our engineering team converted the concept into a fully manufacturable CAD model, verified every detail to the customer's required specifications, and had the signs laser cut, fabricated, and ready for delivery in less than 24 hours (expedite service).

One thing we've learned after building hundreds of custom projects is that production usually isn't the bottleneck—information is.
