Colleen began her career as a production worker at our Sherwood Park, Alberta location in 2006. Over the past two decades, she has held positions in warehouse production, production supervision, inventory, and inside sales. Today, she serves as Business Development Manager – Pavement Maintenance for W. R. MEADOWS OF WESTERN CANADA.

Colleen’s career reflects her versatility, dedication, and willingness to embrace new challenges. Her experience across operations and sales now helps her identify business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and support the continued growth of our pavement maintenance product line.

Congratulations to John Majerczyk on an incredible 45 years of service with W. R. MEADOWS!

John joined the company in 1981 as the Accounting Manager and has built a remarkable career over more than four decades, now serving as Assistant Controller/Credit Manager at our Hampshire, Illinois headquarters.

Throughout his career, John has seen the company grow and change while remaining committed to the values that have guided W. R. MEADOWS for generations: Quality. Service. Integrity.

John recently received his 45-year service pin from W. R. MEADOWS President Matthew Price in recognition of this milestone.

That’s a wrap on APWA PWX in Houston, Texas!

David Keener and Perry Hudson, Regional Market Managers/Pavement Maintenance, joined Mike Cook, Market Group Manager/Pavement Maintenance, in representing W. R. MEADOWS at this year’s event. They had a great time connecting with public works professionals from across the industry!

PWX provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, explore the latest ideas and solutions, and discuss the future of pavement maintenance and public infrastructure.

We wanted to take a minute to spotlight Juliet “Julie” Sailsman, Sales Expediter at W. R. MEADOWS OF CANADA!

Since joining the team in August 2025, Julie has played an important role in keeping orders and communication moving smoothly. From processing orders and providing back-order updates to dispatching and coordinating with inside sales, shipping, and receiving, she helps connect several key parts of the customer experience.

Julie brings a team-first mindset to her role and values open communication, respect, and a positive work environment. She’s always willing to learn, lend a hand, and continue building her skills and relationships with colleagues.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with family, cooking, listening to music, trying new things, and discovering new places.

We’re glad to have Julie as part of the W. R. MEADOWS team and look forward to seeing her continue to grow in her role!
