Yesterday, ADC Greenville attended the Cleveland Park Zoo Playground and Trail ribbon cutting. Soon celebrating it’s 100th birthday, Cleveland Park is a fixture in Greenville, well-loved and well-used by all of us. The expansion of this section of the Swamp Rabbit Trail, new and improved playground structures for younger and older children, shade, and new shelters offer deeper accessibility and inclusivity for members of our community, allowing more people to love and play in this park.

ADC is honored to have provided civil engineering and landscape architecture services for these improvements to Cleveland Park and thankful to the City of Greenville for their continued investment in parks, playgrounds, trails, and outdoor amenities. We’re proud to have worked alongside Craig Gaulden Davis PBK, Triangle Construction Company, INC., and Carolina Parks and Play, LLC on this project, too!

And don’t worry – ADC tested out the ninja equipment for you. 10/10 would recommend. If you’re over 6ft tall, watch your knees.

The Catawba Bend Preserve in York, SC, is now open! 🌲

Earlier this week, we celebrated with a ribbon cutting for the first phase of this breathtaking 1,900-acre York County park along the Catawba River. With miles of trails, it is the perfect home for cross country races, hiking, and many more outdoor community activities.

We worked alongside Craig Gaulden Davis PBK to design the new entry gate, fee station, restroom building, and parking - the first step in a multi-phase vision for the park. We also created a special design guideline that will shape the park’s future architecture, materials, and landscaping, so Catawba Bend keeps its character as it grows.

Construction is now live for St. Johns Fire District Station No. 5!🔥🚒

Since our first responders can't pause, neither could our plan. The project was planned in phases to keep the current station fully operational the entire time.

Built directly adjacent to the existing station, the new station will increase parking, and a brand-new training pad and fire tower will allow the first responders of St. Johns Fire District to train close to home. ADC’s design team added permeable pavers in parking spaces to promote infiltration and reduce stormwater runoff to help the trucks get on the road faster and increase response time.
