What a great day at HCT! 🎉

Employees put their skills (and luck!) to the test in our Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament, creating plenty of friendly competition and laughs throughout the day. 🪨📄✂️

Congratulations to Rachael for earning the most tickets and claiming the top spot! 🏆 Garrett gave her a run for her money and finished as a very close second.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day so much fun. We love opportunities to connect, compete, and enjoy some team spirit together!

Hannibal Carbide Tool, Inc. takes great pride in annually offering a $1000 scholarship. This scholarship is bestowed upon a student who maintains a high school GPA of 3.0 or above and is set to pursue studies at a university, specializing in Engineering, Science, or Business.
Preston Hart is our 2026 scholarship recipient.
Preston plans to major in accounting as he begins this exciting new chapter. He has set a clear goal for his future: to earn his CPA and build a successful career as a corporate accountant.

Cinco de Mayo is today, and for many Americans, that means enjoying Mexican food... and probably a few margaritas.

But Cinco de Mayo, which translates to May 5, is probably one of the most misunderstood Mexican holidays. Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over the French forces of Napoleon III on May 5, 1862, at the Battle of Puebla.

Mexico had troubles paying back war debts to European countries, and France had come to Mexico to collect that debt.

Today, Cinco de Mayo has become more of an American holiday than a Mexican one. It's been big in the United States since Mexican Americans raised awareness for it in the 1960s. Now, it represents pride for the culture and heritage. - copied
