I had the opportunity to serve as the fabrication foreman for a project at TNT. While we made progress, I believe there’s always room for improvement in the way we approach our designs.

For this job, we built a fence panel that could have been even more durable and aesthetically pleasing. Here’s what I envisioned:

 Design Enhancement: By incorporating a top and bottom rail securely welded to a flat strap, which is then attached to the cement block pillars, we can create a more robust frame. This approach improves upon the previous fence design, which involved simply inserting pipes into existing holes and attaching welded wire panels to them.


Structural Integrity: Attaching these rails to cement block pillars with welded wire in between would not only enhance stability but also add a clean, professional finish.

Functional Beauty: This design would ensure the fence is both functional and visually appealing—perfect for any outdoor space!

Here’s a water gap that successfully weathered the July, 4th 2025 flood in Ingram, TX. I’m excited to share this new footage that showcases its remarkable durability!

I want to give a big shoutout to TNT Services for allowing me to take the lead on this project. It’s a testament to our commitment to resilient construction, and I’m proud to have been part of this project as the fabrication foreman.

As we witness the impact of nature on infrastructure, we’re reminded of the importance of adaptability in our work. Here’s a bridge we built that underwent significant changes during its design process. Initially envisioned with modern aesthetics and rustic cedar accents, our customer’s evolving vision led us to embrace a new direction.

This footage of the 2025 flooding in Kerville, Tx illustrates not just the resilience of our constructions but also highlights how we must remain flexible in the face of unexpected challenges. Just as we adapted this project for our client, let’s too adapt to the world around us.
