Hurricanes hit our region, too!

Though they don’t happen often, hurricanes can wreak havoc in Orange,
Sullivan, and Ulster Counties (as did Hurricanes Irene in 2011 and Sandy in 2012).
Hurricane season ends on November 30, so we’re not out of the woods yet.
But we all know that you don’t need a hurricane to lose power in your home —
heavy winds, rainstorms, or snowstorm can knock out our electricity, too.

That’s why we recommend that all our customers install a generator to protect
their loved ones and their homes from extended power outages. A whole
house backup generator will supply all the power you need to keep the lights
and the TV on, and the refrigerator running—you may even be able to keep
your air conditioning going!

We're proud to be a Certified Generac Dealer. Give us a call to learn more about
our generator options and services:

Up and down ... up and down! No, we’re not talking about a roller coaster. We’re talking about fuel prices this past heating season!

And because of daily changes in what’s happening in the Middle East, who knows where prices will go next!

That’s why Penguin Energy offers a convenient budget plan, which makes paying for your home heating a lot easier! Plus, it includes a price cap, which means you don’t pay more than the price cap, no matter what happens to the market price, and, if market prices drop, you pay the lower price. In fact, because of the price cap, last winter when fuel prices shot up, our budget plan customers saved up to $2.00 per gallon!

This coming heating season, don’t ride the roller coaster of volatile fuel prices! Enroll in our budget plan today! https://penguinenergyny.com/heating-oil-delivery/

Fuel prices went crazy last year! We know it, and we heard it from our customers. That’s why we offer our budget plan, which makes paying for heating easier – and last year saved customers as much as $2.00 per gallon of heating oil.

The budget plan includes a price cap, which means the customer doesn’t pay more than the cap, no matter what happens to the market price. Plus, they get a lower rate if prices drop! Last winter, as issues in the Strait of Hormuz caused oil prices to jump to historic levels, our budget customers were protected by their cap price – to the tune of up to $2.00 per gallon!

Protect your fuel costs next winter. Learn more about our budget plan and then call us to enroll today! https://penguinenergyny.com/heating-oil-delivery/

And now … another interesting fact about penguins and an interesting fact about Penguin Energy!

• Penguin Fact: Penguins live in some of the harshest climates on earth, and they immerse themselves in the ocean for months at a time. So, it should be no surprise that they evolved a highly efficient protective layer that shelters them from the environment.

• Penguin Energy Fact: Penguin Energy customers also live in one of the harshest climates on earth – but they have Penguin Energy to protect their comfort with same-day and next-day heating oil delivery, automatic heating oil delivery, and 24-hour emergency heating oil delivery!

And now … another interesting fact about penguins and an interesting fact about Penguin Energy!

• Penguin Fact: Once a year, penguins lose all of their feathers during a two- to three-week process, and can’t swim or fish until the important insulation grows back.
• Penguin Energy Fact: Unlike penguins, who need to “take time off” while their feathers regrow, Penguin Energy is ready to serve our customers 24/7/365. Our team of trusted professionals is ALWAYS dedicated to providing superior customer service, quality fuel, and the best heating oil pricing!

And now … another interesting fact about penguins and an interesting fact about Penguin Energy!

• Penguin Fact: Penguins huddle for warmth. Emperor penguins have perfected their group hugs to a science, with some birds in the middle actually getting too hot in negative-degree temperatures and needing to waddle their way out. Then the guys on the outskirts get their turn soaking up the heat.
• Penguin Energy Fact: Our customers don’t have to huddle for warmth. With our automatic delivery service, Penguin Energy delivers your oil exactly when you need it, so no one will be left in the cold!

Here’s a new monthly conservation tip for you from Penguin Energy:

Now that the weather has warmed up, switch your ceiling fans to spin in a counterclockwise direction. This will help circulate cool air around the room and reduce the workload on your air conditioning system. Come back next month for another energy conservation tip!
