I recently collected this Fantastic unusual
15 pound Stake Anvil from a 5 generation family farm here in York, Pennsylvania. I love the huge lap weld and the heavily offset huge stake leg. What a great collection of Early American antiques they had in the 300+ year old barn. So much dust and dirt it looked untouched for centuries! Just piles of stuff 12 feet high!

Today's meeting!

It was a beautiful day at Stan’s shop for a June hammer-in.

The doors to the shop were open and a forging station was set up outside, too.

Great demos by Curtis and Andrew throughout the day. Curtis showed how he creates fold-forming sculpture and Andrew made a rasp-snake and candle holder, etc.

There was one of the largest tailgate areas ever with lots of good stuff offered.

Thank you Stan and Carolin for hosting and thank you Curtis and Andrew for your demos.

A very unique large stake anvil.

I made 5 foot long fire poker today. This time i left a few more inches on the poker end so i could twist it before making a point. A twist in the middle for grip and a twist and a leaf at the end.
These are great for a regular fireplace or especially those awesome big bonfires!
