Give Solar's Solar Seed Fund will help provide solar to low income housing in Harrisonburg. A cool part of this project is that they will use volunteers to accomplish most of the work. We're really proud of this custom home built specifically to add solar in Shenandoah County. If you're in this area and want to learn more, visit https://www.greenhillsolar.org/. The project design was by Fred Oesch. The roof was first designed for extra loads for a green roof, but happily was more than adequate for the ballasted solar system installed.
