April 4th marked 20 YEARS in business👏🏼👏🏼!!!
Rob started Welch Silt Fence & Erosion Control 20 years ago on a riding lawn mower as a side gig after work hours and on the weekends. Sometimes dragging his oldest daughter Jessica along with him (me 😂). If only we had pictures of proof from back then!
Rob has since expanded Welch Silt into more than just silt fence. We’ve watched the business grow from a riding mower with a plow, to a shop at the Peculiar house, then expanding into an office and shop in Peculiar then into Harrisonville, where we are currently located. We went from black silt fence to green silt fence. From 3 guys, including Rob, to currently having 11 employees. Who we are all very thankful for!
The memories I share with my dad installing silt fence, pinning miles of erosion control blanket, and driving the tractor seeding jobs are not your typical father daughter memories, but they are mine to cherish. It’s been amazing to watch my father chase his dreams. It never gets old seeing the family name on that green fence along jobsites.
We are all very proud of the hardworking man you are and the courage it takes to start your own business. Welch Silt Fence & Erosion Control is a family business we are all very proud to be a part of. Here’s to the next 20!!
