GHI is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver who is concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner to join our team. You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
Responsibilities:
· Safely operate forklift
· Load and unload cargo
· Properly track and document activity log
· Inspect truck before and after trip
· Ensure that all deliveries have been signed and delivered to the correct recipient which involves packing lists, purchase orders or collection of payments
· Responsible for keeping corporate vehicles clean after use Add fuel and maintain detailed records and mileage Provide receipts for all fuel costs to the Accounting Manager
· Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
· Manages daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products
· Deliver small and large metal parts and components to customers in boxes or on skids
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields a plus
· Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
· Commercial driver's license preferred but not required Must have an active Fed Med card for driving CMV
· Be able to drive different types of trucks from a flatbed pickup to a box truck
· Must be able to understand and read written instructions and or directions in work related documents
· Knowledge of simple operations in window based computer environment; preferred in JobBoss but not required
· Excellent customer service
· Ability to handle physical workload
· Strong work ethic

Today we celebrated Glenn's 80th Birthday which is this coming Saturday. There was singing, prize money from Glenn's Infamous Scrap Game, Glenn's favorite pizza from Marty's Pizza Delafield along with the notoriously favorite cookies from MJ's Market and Catering. Happy Birthday to our Patriarch, still getting it done everyday the Hepfner way! 🥳🍕🍪
