Last Friday, the National Science Foundation (NSF) funded National Center for Next Generation Manufacturing was proud to support and participate in the first meeting of the Connecticut College of Technology (COT) pathway program. These accredited pathways help students who have enrolled in Technology Studies or Engineering Sciences at Connecticut State Community College transition to a four-year institution as seamlessly as possible while retaining their technical education credits. Dr. Karen Wosczyna-Birch, a former director of the College of Technology, was happy to welcome the newly appointed Director of the College of Technology, Nicola Ricker, Interim STEM Dean of CT State Community College, and to inform newer faculty members about the National Center for Next Generation Manufacturing.

Special thanks to Central Connecticut State University for hosting the first COT meeting of the academic year!
