Daniel Marder uses a myriad of materials in his work ranging from blown, flame-worked, cast glass, cast, and fabricated metal,original Images, audio compositions, electronics, to found objects. Some of his most recent projects explore sculpture that generates it’s own electricity using kinetic energy from co-generation wind and solar sources. Another project uses Dichroic glass high resolution

images are from 2 to 50 stories tall and can be designed to wrap entire buildings or a series of buildings to form a one large image or a group of images to reflect the suns radiation for active solar shading. He currently lives With his family, an Expat in Minato-Ku, Tokyo Where he is working on a series of blown glass and Torch-worked objects informed by Japanese Curtural Traditions he has expierenced while living there.
