Another rig back home and ready to work! 🔥

We recently had the opportunity to complete this refurb for Crockett County Fire & EMS, giving their apparatus new life while keeping the tank, body, and plumbing already serving their department.
This build received a new 2027 Freightliner 108SD AWD Regular Cab, along with a custom SFA heavy-duty front bumper and skid plates, underbody compartments, Hale HPX200 B18 pump, Scotty “Around the Pump” foam system, Feniex lighting package, fresh Imron paint, striping, decals, and more.

There’s something pretty satisfying about taking a proven piece of equipment, rebuilding it for the road ahead, and watching it leave our shop ready to serve again.

We always appreciate hearing from the departments putting our equipment to work.

A big thank you to our friends in Aransas Pass for taking the time to send us this feedback on their new skid unit. We take a lot of pride in the workmanship that goes into every build, and hearing that the quality and continued improvements are being noticed means a lot to our crew.

We received the skid unit for our LMTV and already have it mostly installed. Everything looks great! The quality of workmanship on all the plumbing and accessories is top-notch.
It’s also good to see that y’all’s products are constantly improving like the aluminum fuel tank with the gauge and the crimped hoses.
We just received the box of goodies and warranty information for the pump and equipment today. The extra 100’ of 1” red rubber hose also looks great on the hose reel for our Humvee.
Thank you again for the outstanding work and service. We look forward to working with you on future projects.

🚒 Vashti VFD is headed home with another Steele Fire Apparatus skid unit.

Four years ago, Vashti VFD purchased their first skid from us. After putting it to work and seeing what it could do, they came back for another.

For us, that says a lot. We take pride in building equipment that’s made to work, made to last, and ready when it’s needed.

🔥 Another One Ready to Serve! 🔥

Today was an exciting day at Steele Fire Apparatus as we finished up this great-looking truck for Snyder Volunteer Fire Department!

The guys were all smiles and ready to get their new truck home—and we can’t blame them! We think this one turned out pretty sharp. 👏

One of the best parts of what we do is seeing the excitement when a department comes to pick up their finished truck. Thank you, Snyder VFD, for trusting Steele Fire Apparatus with your build. We’re proud to have played a part in putting another truck on the road and ready to serve its community.

And sure enough…they pulled back into Snyder this afternoon in their brand-new fire truck! 🚒

Another proud delivery in the books! The keys are officially in the hands of the crew over at Snyder VFD, and their brand new Large Brush truck is headed home.

Always Ready to Answer the Call! 🔥

Howard County Volunteer Fire Department crews were back at it over the Labor Day weekend, responding to a roadside fire along the interstate.

Their quick response helped get the fire knocked down and under control—another example of the dedication our volunteer firefighters show every day to protect their communities.

We’re proud to see departments like Howard County VFD out there putting in the work and answering the call when they’re needed. Thank you to these firefighters for all you do! 🇺🇸

And a reminder for all of us: when you see emergency vehicles working along the roadway, slow down, move over, and give our first responders room to work safely.
