*** Update *** Service was restored at 10:06 p.m. Wind broke an electric pole. This caused the re-closer at Baltimore & 42nd street to lock open. The crew repaired the pole.

We are conducting a natural gas survey to ensure safe and reliable service, as well as promote awareness and education. The survey is included in the May At Your Service utility newsletter. Copies of the survey are also available in the customer service lobby of the utility office at 1228 N. Denver Ave. Natural gas providers are required to conduct safety awareness surveys. Your help is greatly appreciated to complete the survey.

We are two weeks away from our next Food Truck Friday and it's a big one! This will be a partnership with Hastings Parks & Recreation as part of their weekly Food Truck Friday series through June. While Parks and Rec provides activities, we'll be joined by Sprockets Famous Freedom Dogs MeanBone BBQ & Burgers Tropical Sno and JP's Kettle Corn Treats by Jazmin and the The Happy Hour Hitch.

*** Update *** Power was restored to all customers at 2:05 p.m.

An electric distribution crew responded at 1:40 p.m. to an outage affecting West Fourth and Fifth streets near North Laird Avenue. The outage was caused by a blown transformer due to a squirrel climbing on top of a transformer. There were 21 customers were affected.

***Update*** The outage was resolved at 5:47 p.m. A squirrel caused a junction fuse to blow.

An electric distribution crew responded at 4:52 p.m. to an outage affecting an area including the 700 blocks of East Third and Fourth streets.

***Update*** Repairs were completed and service was restored shortly after midnight.

Water service will be shut off this afternoon on Jefferson Avenue between Ninth and 12th streets to repair a water main leak.
