American Concrete Products is NOW HIRING!
We are looking for a motivated and professional Class A Delivery Truck Driver (Flatbed).
Job Roles/Responsibilities
1. Reports to the Dispatcher/Yard Manager daily for loads to be delivered.
2. Load/fuel truck and equipment each night as returning from final drop to be prepared to begin the next day. Once loaded, park truck/trailer where it is not blocking any other drivers from coming into or leaving the yard.
3. Drivers are expected to be gone from the yard with their first delivery no later than 7:30 a.m. each morning.
4. Loads truck as needed according to the load sheet and or packing slip obtained from the Dispatcher/Yard Manager. Unload as required and notify the Dispatcher/Yard Manager of any inbound products so that they can be properly received into inventory.
5. Verify that the product on the truck is 100% correct prior to strapping the load down. Utilize load sheet and/or packing slip to correlate pallet counts and type of block on each and every load.
6. Clean any debris from broken block while loading and unloading to help maintain a clean and orderly yard space.
7. Document all mileage on driver paperwork for IFTA requirements.
8. Perform a daily truck inspection. Report any discrepancies and/or repairs needed to Dispatcher/Yard Manager immediately.
9. Report weekly ending mileage to Dispatcher/Yard Manager for maintenance tracking purposes.
10. Deliver all scheduled loads on time and safely. Obey all traffic laws in the jurisdiction in which you are travelling.
11. Maintain logbook as required by law.
12. It is the responsibility of the delivery truck driver to be the face of American Concrete Products when present on jobsites and wholesale customer store property. Always conduct yourself in a professional and productive manner when representing the company.
13. Obtain a signature as proof of delivery on all loads.
14. Verify all insurance and required paperwork is up to date and in the truck at all times.
15. Drivers are required to wash and clean out their trucks/wash trailers once per week.
16. Other tasks as necessary to improve the quality of our delivery service.
