Couple Tikka’s done this week with HCA Barrels new hybrid CF barrels setup for Unknown Suppressors sweet little OG 6S reflex can.

Super impressed with these barrels. These will be shooters without a doubt.

Family hand-me-down Re*****on 700 got the full treatment. This one will be handed down for generations to come. I was grateful to be trusted to turn this into a surgical showpiece. Everything we did was to the highest degree of quality and it shows. All the cocking surfaces polished, fire control assembly tuned for positive, reliable ignition, everything down to the last spring coated for corrosion resistance, chamber indicated to sub .0001” runout, and ready for this fall. Projects like this take a greater effort and attention to detail compared to using a traditional premium aftermarket action but the result is in a league of its own.

Care package from

My original 500 pieces are now down to 432 after losing a few here and there at matches. These have been reloaded over 12 times, taken me to a few podium finishes including a first place NRL Hunter win, a few more top 10 finishes, and they continue to preform with better consistency than I’ve ever seen in rifle brass. This brass is showing no signs of slowing down. It is all in perfectly serviceable condition and I’ll continue to shoot it for several thousand more rounds.

A good rifle with good components is the cure for many ailments. 😎

I’m eager to see what these next 500 bring. 🔥🔥🔥

Got a break from the lathe today to knock out a great training hike and see some awesome wildlife.

The new pack was loaded up and handled the 10 mile / 3,700’ ascent like a champ. I’m looking forward to having it loaded up with a backbreaking amount of elk meat later this fall. 🤣

Major overhaul to this old Re*****on 700.

We threw in a new PT&G bolt that unfortunately wasn’t machined to my standard… so I cleaned it all up after blueprinting the 700. The result is a true 100% lug contact and perfect bolt clearance, perfect timing, and glassy feel.

Two of my best groups from a little bench shooting yesterday. This 10-shot group started out with 5 all plugging into the ragged hole in the top left, #6 was my one flyer at the bottom left, and 7-10 rejoined the group although slightly lower and to the right.

Taking the low left flyer out, that 9-shot group measures .241” CTC.

The 20-shot group was fired straight out of the gate, after 3 rounds to foul the clean barrel. Interestingly enough, the POI slowly shifted left and down as the barrel settled back in, prompting a .1mil right windage adjustment.

Every 25 Creedmoor I’ve built seems to shoot like this, they just plain want to shoot. Hardly any recoil and a very capable cartridge. It is easily my favorite round to shoot these days.

It’s taken a lot of tweaks and experimenting to get the laser cutting the closed cell foam this clean, but it is perfect.

Packages like this are my bread and butter. A true turn key tac driver. Every single component, premium.
