If you’ve scrolled through my previous posts, you’ll know I’m a fan of Hammer Bullets for hunting.

My daughter will be shooting my NRL hunter rig for deer this year so I made a last minute decision to load up some Hammer HHT’s for the trusty old 25 Creed. A single round of load development, one tweak with a primer change and we have success. Every group fired during load development with the .257 120 grain Hammer HHT was under .5”, with this final 10-shot group measuring .440” CTC. I typically like a little smaller number on the SD, but for the consistency and precision this load provides, we will be just fine. Final velocity 3044 FPS through a 26” Bartlein 7.5 twist chambered with my custom 25 CM reamer.

It’s hard to not think this is awesome.

I grabbed an Unknown Suppressors OG 6S over the barrel suppressor for my customer and relieved the barrel for the OTB portion. This is a match made in heaven. The ultralight titanium can weighs just over 6 ounces, takes the muzzle report down to low 130 db levels, and only adds 3” in overall length. Again, a match made in heaven. 🇺🇸
