Muffler Men The Muffler Men are unique pieces of the American Landscape. Hayward's Big Mike, the Idiot of Flint Michigan, the Missouri Cowboy, and Paul Bunyan! Come visit!

The Muffler Men, large fiberglass statues with one curved hand pointing up and the other pointing down to hold everything from axes to auto parts to giant hamburgers, have stood over America's highways and byways since the mid 1960's. Bell Plastic's collection of the Big Men began when they acquired Big Mike, who stood for thirty years on Mission Blvd. Big Mike's restoration was followed by the Mi

ssouri Cowboy, who has gone through his own restoration. Currently in progress are the Michigan Idiot, who hails from Flint, MI, and one of the original Paul Bunyans. The gates are open Monday - Friday, 8 am 4:30 pm, and someone is always around during business hours to help with photo-ops!
