Where do we begin on this great adventure to Florida this past week? First stop: Sun n fun 2026, where Safari Helicopter made new partnerships with some of the finest companies in the aviation industry. We will have a few new modern technologies to offer our customers soon. Stay tuned, in the coming weeks, to find out who these companies are.
Then, we traveled further south to meet a new friend, where he and his wonderful wife hosted a spectacular event for friends that we were honored to be a part of. I had the great privilege of taking my first helicopter flight with one of the previous owners of Safari Helicopter. Taking flight in multiple Safari Helicopters was an incredible experience. What a day!!
Again, Jr. and I are looking forward to many more of these days together as we bring this legend back to where it belongs. -In the hands of a community of true aviation enthusiasts that love to share the craft and experience with others!

Well Safari Family.. a lot of progress was made this week for Safari Helicopter.
The last load of materials and machines were picked by Jr. and brought back to Louisiana.
He and I have been busy these past few days unpacking and continuing to organize the company.
Below you will see the Building on the back of our property where all of our Powder coating, composite work and packaging will take place.
Our oven is 8’x8’x23’ long… more than capable of taking care of our needs moving forward. We also have a climate controlled room for all of the transmission and other drivetrain components to be stored and assembled.
Stay tuned as we progress and Thank you all for your calls, emails, support and most of all your patience as we continue pressing forward.

Great news! We have found the right partners to help us take Safari into the future! Clint Brunson and Clinton “Junior” Johnson have taken control of the company and are re-locating it to their facilities in Louisiana. They are both entrepreneurs and have owned multiple businesses around Shreveport for many years. With the love of aviation, production experience, and resources needed, they will ensure that Safari continues as a viable enterprise.
Over the next year, lots of our time will be spent with them making sure that they have all the information and assistance they need to start getting new Safaris in the air. We are excited to see what the future will bring!
The best news of all, Safari will return to Oshkosh this year! We look forward to seeing you all again in the Ultralight/Rotorcraft Fun Zone.
