With the colder weather coming in this week id like to mention a few things. Furnaces are designed to maintain 70 degrees indoor temp when it’s 0 degrees outside. When we get colder than that your furnace may run non stop and not maintain your desired temperature. We do not recommend turning the furnace down at night as it may not catch back up the next day. Make sure your filter is clean and all of your vents are open as restricted airflow with long run times can cause issues as well. We have exciting news. We have hired a new service tech. Many of you already know Keith as he’s worked in the Jefferson county area for many years. Keith brings to the team 35 years experience. He will be our new lead service tech. He joins the rest of our team which is Scott our lead installer who has 20 years experience and our apprentice Jake who is starting his 3rd year. Don’t worry you will still see me out in the field doing service, installs, and quotes. With my 14 years experience it brings our combined experience to 72 years. We appreciate all the support from the community allowing us to grow and put the best possible people in the positions to serve the community best.

We have picked a winner for our furnace give away. The person we picked is a Jefferson county native. They are self employed and recently had some health issues making it hard to work. Their furnace is well over 30 years old and will most likely not make the winter. Luckily we will be installing a new unit first week of December. Thank you for all the great submissions. I wish I was able to give away more. Maybe someday with all the support I receive from the community.

Well we have officially made it 3 years. 3 years ago I pulled out all my equity out of my home maxed out every credit card I had. I took loans from family in order to start my own business. If I said the last 3 years have been easy it would be a lie but it has been the second most rewarding thing I’ve done. Behind being a father of course. The relationships ive built with my customer is amazing and seeing how much they trust me and the work we provide and watching that customer base continually grow is a great feeling. Thank you all for the last 3 years and we will be here for many more to come.

We got to replace the roof top unit at Ming’s garden today. They have gone quite awhile with no ac but they are finally up and running with a new unit. We were happy to be able to complete this project for them.

Just wanted to make a quick post. It might be alittle boring but some much needed information for you the consumer. The EPA has decided that the refrigerant we currently use R-410a is bad for the environment. Manufacturers will not be able to produce R-410a equipment as of January 1st 2025. They will be changing to a propane based refrigerant called R-454b. This is a huge change and manufacturers are already warning us that equipment price will increase up to 20% on January 1st. If you know your ac is on its last leg you may want to consider replacing this year instead of pushing it off.
