It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Alethea "Allie" Wofford, who passed away last Friday.

Allie served as Marketing Manager at Polymer Industries for more than five years. During her time with us, she made a lasting impact by bringing our employees together and reminding us that work could also be filled with fun, compassion, and community.

She helped organize our annual Halloween costume contests, Breast Cancer Awareness events, blood drives, and was instrumental in coordinating the kidney donor awareness drive for a fellow employee. Her dedication to supporting both our employees and the community reflected the kind and caring person she was.

Allie had a special gift for making people smile and creating opportunities for others to come together. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and generous spirit will be remembered by everyone who had the privilege of working with her.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Allie's daughter Ashley, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Job description:
Polymer Industries, a national polyolefin and high-performance plastic sheet and rod manufacturer, is seeking a Southeastern Regional Sales Manager with 5+ years of experience in outside sales positions. This position will have a travel requirement of about 75%. Salary is negotiable.
Job Summary
Southeastern Regional Sales Manager must have excellent people skills and the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with customers. Regularly communicate with leadership and peers to resolve questions/concerns to accomplish corporate goals.

Primary Responsibilities:
Setting up meetings and traveling to existing customers to see how we can better serve them. Meeting with potential customers to show our product offerings and receiving and placing calls to customers while traveling. Attending tradeshow events that support our product lines.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Outside Sales and proficiency in computers and MSOffice applications. A valid driver’s license and clean DMV record. Living in Alabama or the surrounding area will be a plus, but being in the Southeastern Territory is a must.

Recycling Operations Manager

Location: Henagar, AL

Pay: Negotiable

Job Type: Full-time

Job Purpose: Manage the entirety of the recycling department, overseeing the lifecycle of recycled materials from initial customer inquiry through to production.

Key Duties:

Department Leadership: Manage the recycling department and its employees.
Inventory Oversight: Organize and maintain all inventory; track the movement of all products in and out of the facility.
Customer Relations: Maintain and grow relationships with customers specifically regarding their recycling needs.
Process Management: Learn and manage the "ins and outs" of recycling efforts, coordinating closely with production teams.
Resolution: Handle customer needs and resolve complaints effectively.
Requirements:

Management Experience: Prior experience leading a team is required.
Technical Skills: Proficient in computers and MS Office applications.
Problem Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot operational issues and customer concerns.
Logistics: Experience with inventory organization and production workflows.
