We are in the home stretch. Things look like they're closing up. Doors are up tested operationally, being skinned, parking and Airport Operations area (AOA) paved. Get parking paint stripping going, all the interior offices are under construction. Still a lot to do.
Final inspections should kick off in the next 6-8 weeks. Waiting on permanent power to be brought in from a mile away of wire. (Long story)... NVE is on it.

Today starts a very important phase of work... we place 500 tons of asphalt in finished grade for testing and Department of Aviation approval. This will take a number of days but once done we can schedule and proceed with entire site.
Another benchmark to the completion of an aggressive project and schedule.

Working hard to the home stretch... hangar door are arriving. After being constructed at the factory they are cut into trucking sizes (4) pieces. On site we weld the back together and hangar the 30 door.
Grading is head down the stretch to an August paving start date. Really starting to look like something.
The weather hasn't always been nice this week. We had 500lnft of fence come down on a couple days of 68mph wind and rain...
All good to go now...

Update: the roof structure of the last building is going up by crane today. Each girder is approximately 35,000 #.
Grading is over excavating the aircraft ramp side and bringing over crusher material for controlled and inspected placement; to FAA compaction specifications. This in preparation for asphalt paving in the schedule.
Concrete pouring of the office building floors with substantial steel reinforcement is wrapping up this week.
"All pistons are firing" on the project to keep moving forward....

Last week was a crane week. The steel contractor placed the 122' long by 8' tall door girders. These hold the 37' height (3 story)hangar door assemblies.
Next time we put the 145" by 12' girders in the larger building.

General photo dump...We are approaching a 52% project completion level. A lot of work done and as much still to go. We appreciate all the trades and crews working together in tight spaces safely.
More crane time coming to fly the next roof, photos soon.

At the same time we are flying trusses and putting on roof structures we are starting the storm drainage facilities.
We are always happy when the "big boy toys come play in our sandbox!"

The last building is up. We are off and running to fly 60" joist to 96"-112" door header/girders. That is some big steel...

While in office we work on plans and permits for the larger land development projects, we take on smaller design/build tenant improvements.

This is a continuation for the cryo-freeze fertility clinic we completed a few years back. They need to further expand their operations facility.

Demolition of the laboratories has completed; framing and electrical for new nitrogen storage tanks and cryo freeze equipment being work on. We will continue to update as this TI proceeds along.
