To all our valued customers, friends and family:
I just wanted to check in with you before it gets too much hotter and see if there were any specific units you were targeting for replacement this year? If your units are 10 - 15 years old you should strongly consider it! There is a limited supply of 13 SEER equipment left in stock that can still be installed in 2015 but once the stock is gone, they are no longer producing the 13 SEER Equipment. New Department of Energy regulations are going to require 14 SEER equipment after that and the price would inevitablely go up, so if there is specific equipment you know you will be changing out soon, now is the time to do it. Attached is a summary of the actual regulation changes. This goes for any friends and neighbors you may have as well (I’m telling everyone one I know, trying to save them some money). If they are considering changing out their air conditioning units anytime soon, the R-22 dry charge condensing units will no longer be available either once existing stock is gone (because they are 13 SEER). In the near future they would have to change out the coil and condensing unit to R-410A and 14 SEER which will dramatically increase the cost. Let me know if you have any questions.
