Do to me getting injured (neck) last year and it not improving, I am forced to sale the concrete plant. My Grandfather, Michael Schwarz started the business in 1955 making it possibly the oldest business in town (68 years.) His philosophy was to always take care of the people in town and they would take care of the business. I'm hoping someone local will carry on that philosophy after purchasing it. The business has always done quiet well and could easily be expanded to do a lot more than I was doing on my own. Anyone interested please call.

This month marks 66 years since Michael Schwarz Jr. started pouring concrete in Hennessey!!!! Today also marks my ownership for 16 years.

Hennessey Ready Mix was started in 1955 by my Grandfather Michael Schwarz, Jr. A veteran of the Korean War, husband, father of six and a religious man, my Grandfather believed we should treat people of Hennessey how we wanted to be treated. His business struggled and prospered just like all business and citizens of Hennessey did through the oil booms and bust, and the years of great and terrible crops. And its still here!! This year, 2020, marks our 65th year of selling Ready Mix concrete in Hennessey!!
