🎉 Celebrating 50 Years at Thurmond!

This week, we’re celebrating an incredible milestone — Ken Hudgeons’ 50th anniversary with Thurmond — and five decades in the gas measurement industry!

Ken’s career started while he was still in high school, working part-time for the company. In 1976, after graduating from OSU, he began his full-time career in Gillette, Wyoming, before following the boom farther north to Williston, North Dakota, in 1980.

After six years in North Dakota, Ken returned to Oklahoma, spending 20 years in Woodward before moving to Stillwater in 2006, where he lives today.

Over five decades, Ken has seen tremendous changes in our industry and our company. Through changing technologies, new markets, evolving customer needs and both challenges and growth, he has helped build the knowledge, relationships and reputation that have shaped Thurmond into the company it is today.

Congratulations, Ken, on 50 years with Thurmond! We’re grateful for your leadership, dedication and everything you’ve contributed to our company and the natural gas measurement industry.

Here’s to 50 years — and many more! 🤠🎉

We’re wrapping up a full week at ASGMT in Houston! 🤠

It was great to connect with customers, vendors, industry friends and fellow measurement professionals. Events like American School of Gas Measurement Technology are important for our industry — bringing people together to share ideas, build relationships and stay focused on what matters most: serving our customers.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit with the Thurmond team. We enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces!

Until next time, Houston! 👋

Shoutout to our field technicians who are up early and on the road toward their first job site, often before the sun comes up. 🌅

The energy industry depends on people willing to leave before daylight, drive the extra mile, answer the late-night phone call, and turn complex problems into reliable solutions.

Hardworking people are what make it all run. Proud of our crews and grateful for the customers who trust us to do the work!

Whether your summer took you across the country or just down the road, we hope it included time to relax, recharge, and make great memories. ☀️ 😎

One of our Thurmond stickers recently made the trip to San Diego! 🌴

As summer winds down, we're grateful for our dedicated team, whose hard work keeps high-quality measurement, automation, and fabrication solutions moving to customers across the country. It's been a hot summer in Oklahoma and Texas, but our team continues to show up every day with the commitment and reliability our customers count on. 💪 👷🏽‍♂️🔧

Here's to a strong finish to the season—and hopefully a little cooler weather ahead! 🎉

Another successful year at the 99th annual International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (ISHM) is wrapping up today!

A big thank you to the ISHM committee — including Thurmond’s Ken Hudgeons and Lindsey Hudgeons — for the tremendous work that goes into organizing one of the oil & gas measurement industry’s most comprehensive schools and exhibits.

We’re proud to be part of such a longstanding industry tradition and appreciate everyone who stopped by to visit with us this week.
