Many of the pockets in the front mine of do not contain large specimens, but instead are lined with druzy quartz and a mixture of small gems and black hydrocarbon powder. Although it’s not as exciting as finding big crystals, the gems from these pockets really add up and can sometimes fill an entire bucket 🤪😆
