I don’t post on here very often but I need to give a shoutout to the Hermann Area Volunteer Fire Department, Travis Schulte, Hermann Area Ambulance District and Brian Grannemann Services. I came home from work early because Becca was home and it was starting to storm. I went to my basement and it was filled with smoke. I immediately dialed 911 while getting Becca out of the house and by then Travis was already here checking. After being unable to locate the source (using infrared) I called Brian Grannemann who came out right away and he traced it to the well pump switch then proceeded to replace it. We are truly blessed to live in a small community who respond immediately. The Ambulance Crew immediately upon arrival checked to make sure Becca and I were okay. I can’t say enough or Thank everybody enough for their quick response and concern.

My heart was filled with gratitude when I got a call from my hubby that the fire department was on their way to our house to ensure our safety and well-being, as a very strong electrical smell and smoke in our basement was a cause for concern, especially with Becca's fear of storms, but thankfully Jim arrived home early from work to check on her, and with the help of the fire department and Brian Grannemann, the problem with our well wiring was identified and resolved, and we are all safe and sound, and I am deeply thankful to the fire department and Brian for their selfless service and expertise. THANK You GOD for everyone helping to keep Becca safe!! Love small towns and couldn’t think of a better place to live.

The office will be closing at 10 AM today in order for us to move our daughter to her apartment. We will be open Monday regular hours.
