Natural Enrichment Industries (NEI) are hiring. NEI is a manufacturing company with locations in Herrin and Sesser IL.

We hare hiring for the following positions:

PLANT MANAGERS FOR OUR HERRIN AND SESSER IL LOCATIONS. The responsibilities of a Plant Manager is but not limited to:
- provides leadership, supervisory and reporting responsibilities;
- creates and executes a plan for resource allocation including man hours per project, materials and equipment use/allocation, budget, production space as well as equipment per function;
- oversees all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensure policies and procedures are followed;
- Develops processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity;
- Supports SQF as required.

PRODUCTION OPERATORS AND LABORERS
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Able to work across functions on different tasks including receiving materials, mixing, machine operation, bagging, loading and other as assigned
-Conducts required lab tests, documents all activities
-Uses NEI product software efficiently
-Follows all GMPs, SQF and HACCP guidelines in place
- Once properly trained, able to carry out job duties with or without direct supervision
- Is engaged in work, wears correct clothing and PPE, records and documents process as needed. Good attendance and keeps work areas clean.

Stop by our plant today to complete an application. 1800 West Oak Street, Herrin, IL. At NEI, our manufacturing system is a unique mixing / drying process that produces food grade Calcium Phosphate. Your workplace at NEI is clean, safe and you will receive training. In this General Labor / Machine Operator role at NEI you will be part of the entire process from start to finish. Your work will follow the production schedule and may include unloading trucks, machine operation, mixing, bagging, milling, loading and cleaning. Advancement from this role to supervisor is available based on your performance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Perform a variety of general manual labor tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., moving materials and material set-up
· Manually operate machines and inspect finished products
· Maintain a constant and consistent count of materials
· Ensure all paperwork and production records are in order, completed correctly and accurately
· Ensure all lot codes and placards are accurate
· Ensure all raw and packaging materials according to the work order are available prior to beginning production
· Perform simple lab tests per instruction
· Operate a fork-lift, man-lift, power tools and hand tools as needed
· Follows all GMP regulations and safety guidelines
· Ensures Supervisor/Team Lead is aware of any deviations and mechanical issues
· Comfortable in an industrial work environment
Requirements:
• High school education or able to demonstrate progress on getting a GED
• Physically able to stand, lift or walk for an entire 8- or 10-hour shift
• 2 years’ continuous work in a factory with machine operation experience preferred
• No felonies
NOTE: Some work will be second shift. NEI appreciates your flexibility. Our process includes some dust. If you have asthma, COPD or allergies this may not be the best role for you.
