Sometimes it's the quick projects that are the most satisfying.

Knocked out a few custom wood coasters on the xTool this afternoon. Nothing complicated, just some clean engraving and a chance to put the laser to work for a little while.

A custom piece finished up and ready for its new home.

Cut from 3mm basswood on our CNC laser, then hand painted by my wife to bring it to life. I really like how the layered design gives it some depth while keeping it lightweight for hanging on a bedroom door or nursery wall.

A little different project in the shop this week! 🔥

These brand-new cast differential covers came in for a custom powder coat in Pretty Blue Pink. After prep, outgassing, and baking, they're ready to head back to the customer.

Powder coating doesn't hide the texture of cast parts—it protects them with a durable finish that holds up far better than paint.

It's been a while since I've fired up the powder coating setup, but it's good to be back at it. Looking forward to taking on more custom projects!

The dinosaur herd is growing! 🦖🦕

These custom steel dinosaurs are finished up and headed to become part of a mobile dinosaur-themed putt-putt course. It's been a fun project watching these come together from a flat sheet of steel into something kids will enjoy for years.

Can't wait to see them all set up on the course!

Back at the plasma table today making some dinosaur cutouts for a fun project.

These aren't just wall art—they're headed to become part of a mobile dinosaur putt-putt setup! Watching them come to life from a sheet of steel never gets old.

Still plenty of work left before they're finished, but it's always exciting seeing a project start taking shape.
